Founded in 1910’s as a supplier to independent grocery stores, we now service customers of all sizes, supplying more than 7,700 independent supermarkets, chain stores, military bases and institutions with over 137,000 different products.
Challenges:
- The client needed one application to integrate all the work to increase productivity and profitability which is capable of future strategic initiatives in the reverse supply chain.
- Fix inefficient process and improve reporting mechanism.
- The application also needed improvements to generate customer-specific cost for credits, validation against purchase history, salvage sales increases, and recouping hazardous waste disposal fees from vendors.
USS’ Approach and Solution:
We provided design, development, testing, performance tuning, research, migrations and integrations of Oracle Application components, including:
- Reports (XML publisher, BI Publisher, OBIEE, OTBI, D2k)
- Interfaces (day-to-day data process from different legacy systems and process the sales orders, purchasing, creating invoices and moving to GL)
- Conversions if there are one-time data loads
- Developing OAF/ADF pages
- Cloud IO pages and integrate to Oracle applications
